About Bead Addiction

I'm Clementine Ludlow and I am the director of Bead Addiction. I’ve been making beaded jewellery for a few years now, with lots of people telling me I should sell my creations. The timing couldn’t have been better when I left the corporate world in 2006 to have a baby.
It was then that Bead Addiction evolved into the idea of running bead parties to teach other people how to make their own wonderful creations, while still being able to continue to make custom made jewellery.

In early 2007 I became the Jewellery Maker for TVNZ's Good Morning Show, doing live demonstrations, making some wonderful jewellery and also supplying Sarah Bradley with costume jewellery for the show.
Later in 2007 brought new challenges with the arrival of our second son in November and moving out of Auckland to the beautiful sunny Hawkes Bay, to be closer to family and all those wineries!

Jewellery can be so timeless and unique, I feel blessed to have taught myself this skill, as it brings me so much pleasure, that's why I'm so happy to share it with others.
